MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or other related field of study plus 5 years of sales, sales management, regional or district sales leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with distributors in diverse industries such as electrical, electronics, industrial wire and cable and the end users in these industries.
  • Established home office with residence within the specified region.
  • Able and willing to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to fluently read, write and speak the English language.
  • Strong computer skills in Window environment, MS Office Suite, and CRM software.
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

This position is home-office based where it is expected to utilize common business machines and computer equipment. May be occasionally required to lift boxes of supplies, files or sample parts up to about 15 pounds. During routine trips through the manufacturing plant and warehouse, may be exposed to warmer or cooler temperatures, loud machinery noises and the smell of hot nylon plastic.
